Bios/Cvs/Portraits - Silvio Alino - Josep Moscardó - Philip Stanton (ENGLISH)
(Silvio Alino, Josep Moscardó, Philip Stanton)
Silvio Alino (Sighișoara,
Romania, 1980)
Silvio Alino is a Neo-Pop artist born in Romania
in 1980. He lives and works between Barcelona and Ibiza. His art recovers the
pop style of the eighties, reusing and reproducing a careful selection of
contemporary icons in order to denounce the culture of abundance and
consumerism in which we live.
In 2015, four works from her "Pop Icon -
Madonna" collection were chosen by the queen of pop herself to be part of
the video for the song "Rebel Heart" during the "Rebel Heart
World Tour".
Silvio Alino's work has been exhibited in many
galleries, national and international, in art fairs and we will also find it in
private collections. He currently works with several galleries in Barcelona,
Ibiza, Berlin, Toronto and the United States.

Josep Moscardó (Barcelona, Spain, 1953)
Painter, sculptor and draftsman with a
deep-rooted post-impressionist tradition who often portrays the seascapes or
landscapes of Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, Paris and various countries in
Europe and the USA.
Josep Moscardó's work is committed to harmony
and optimism, and he does so in a carefree and direct manner. He portrays an
affable and recognizable urban life, with scenes of the avenues of Barcelona or
characters strolling along the beaches of Cadaqués. His compositions are
luminous and his palette vital and suggestive; each painting responds to a
certain chromatic agreement that he develops with infinite variations.
He studied at the San Jorge School of Fine Arts and at the Llotja School in Barcelona. He has exhibited in Sala Parés in Barcelona since 1978, and has also shown his work in the United States, Japan and the main European capitals.
