THE ARTISTS SILVIO ALINO, JOSEP MOSCARDÓ & PHILIP STANTON PRESENT “SUMMER COLORS”: A SURPRISING COLLABORATIVE EXHIBITION AT THE SILVIA SENNACHERIBBO GALLERY

THE SILVIA SENNACHERIBBO GALLERY welcomes in the Summer with Summer Colors, a colorful, vibrant exhibition which features work from three renowned Barcelona-based artists and includes a series of unique, exclusive pieces created in three-way collaboration.

Silvio Alino (a Romanian artist living in Barcelona and in love with American POP Art), Philip Stanton (an American artist, Barcelonian by adoption, and in love with Catalonia for more than 3 decades) and Josep Moscardó (a Catalan Barcelona-born artist with 40 years of exhibitions under his belt, but full of youthful energy) will be showing their own work as well as pieces they’ve worked on together.

 

Inspired by iconic artistic collaborations such as those of Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, Jasper Johns and Robert Rauschenberg, or Eduard Arranz-Bravo and Rafael Bartolozzi, each artist has chosen at least one piece from the other two authors and has taken it to their own artistic field, painting, drawing and even using screen printing on the original piece, thus creating new, unrepeatable "hybrid" works.

 

Color and humor, power and poetry; This new exhibition will surprise you both for its irreverence, but also for the empathy shown by each of the artists for the work of the others

 

“When you ask three of the gallery's most popular artists to put together a joint exhibition, you expect creativity to burst forth in all its glory. But seeing these new pieces they have created is simply spectacular. The mutual respect and friendship between the three creators is very noticeable.” explains gallery owner Silvia Sennacheribbo. “Each one of them exhibits their own works, which despite having different styles, show something in common: the daring and vibrant use of color. It is an exhibition full of Joie De Vivre!” 

 

In total about thirty Works will be on display, including the new collaborative works, original paintings, graphic work, Giclée prints. Pop art, cubism, contemporary landscape painting... dynamic compositions that use color to provoke sensations and emotions. In short, the colors of summer!
